It doesn't look too dark on that pic, I think it's normal. It depends of the sun position. Here it seems very high so it seems normal that the cabin is dark idk XD

Yes, guys from scs add work to modders every time, here you are right XBS. First there was FMOD, with which standard trucks still sound like a vacuum cleaner, and it took several months for the sound modders to do their job and it became playable, now it's the turn of the simulator stones and herbs. Ihre Arbeit ist absolute spitzenklasse und ich ziehe meinen hut vor ihnen XBS.

correct me please if i am wrong but does this post imply that, until we get info from SCS on MOD updates, the changes basically are trial and error? As in, load mod in blender, modify materials, export mod, load it into game, check that everything works? Or can this be done fully in blender, with known list of things already that needs to be updated?
From my very limited understanding, all that needs to be updated are basically shader values in materials, especially reflection ones, maybe some textures here and there. But it seems that i am very wrong here.
Can anyone tell me what i am missing here as i would like to update some olds mods i have myself to bring them to life for 1.40?
Oh i am fully aware of this and your other mods and i absolutely lovew them.
What i was trying to say is that you have already released a DAF NTT updated to 1.40 which made me thing that you already know what exactly needs to be changed in order to make a mod work in 1.40.
But from this post it seems that that is is very hard and frustrating to make a mod work in 1.40. So my question is, what kind of changes needs to be done to make a mod work in 1.40? Or is it just a trial an error (change parts one by one and hope they do not break things)?

Wird es auch einen kurzen Spoiler für die normale Kabine geben ? Werden von den Kabinen her nur die normale Kabine und die Eurocab dabei sein oder auch die kurzen Kabinen? (Daycab)
